If you just want to join a fireteam, select the type of game you want, browse through the list, click on the one you like and hit join if there are open slots. There's a Fireteam tab, click on that and you can choose various activities (anything, crucible, gambit, nightfall, trials, raid) which will filter all available fireteam list. it was probably closer to 4-5.Ĭlick to expand.wow you never used the bungie app? Were you looking for an easier experience? Something less grindy? King's Fall? There was practically no grind to it besides running the raid to get the new weapons to level up if I recall correctly and my clan got bored and quit after successfully running it for a month and half.ģ-4 weeks is for the pros. It has something for the hardcore fanatics to the used to be hardcore fantatics (like me) to the more casuals (like you). It's obvious you are a casual by the current standard so reaching level 600 in two months is solid even if you needed the horror story. I have 14 raid finishes because I enjoyed it a lot and love running it with newbies to teach them. I casually did it on my own more or less but with the app I had no problem finding people to run nightfall, looking for EP shotty or worm, and the raid.
EP SHOTTY DESTINY 2 FULL
If this had been D1 era when I had a full clan we would have been max level much earlier like the pros running everything. There are multiple ways of leveling up and it was up to you to do them all. I think I got there in 6 weeks but I was half casually doing everything and didn't do any research to maximize leveling up. It will probably only get easier each time as you get strategies down, but by the end you'll probably never want to see this mission again.Click to expand.3-4 weeks is for the pros.
EP SHOTTY DESTINY 2 UPDATE
Update 2: The unlock the catalyst you just need to re-run the Heroic mission a few times and kill blights/bosses. You unlock it by getting "Blighted Essence" in the Heroic Whisper mission, but it remains to be seen what exactly that means. The catalyst gives the gun the ability to gain increased range and precision damage when aiming down the scope for a bit. And it did indeed unlock the catalyst for the gun.

Update: I just watched xGladd beat the Heroic version, which seemed to actually be easier once you knew what you were doing and could use the Whisper to burn the end bosses. Stay tuned for more info about the catalyst and anything else that might be discovered. So, that’s a very rough guide as to how you can attempt this for yourself. This is easily the most exciting I’ve seen the Destiny community in months. There’s roughly a zero percent chance I’m going to end up getting this thing myself seeing how brutally hard this mission is, but whatever, I’m just pumped that something like this is back in the game again. The assumption is that this quest will reward the exotic catalyst for the Whisper of the Worm, though what it does and how you unlock it remains at a mystery at this point. Players can’t even get to 400 light until Solstice of Heroes starts handing out 400 light armor, and only a few people in the world have even beaten the normal version of the quest at this point. After beating this, it unlocks a heroic version of The Whisper quest which is recommended 400 light. For weapons, I'd recommend the EP Shotty (duh) and possibly Riskrunner/Graviton for shield zapping/mob-clearing. And then, the Black Spindle….errr the Whisper of the Worm was theirs. The Arcstriders cleared the mobs and staggered the boss while the Melting Point Titan well, used Melting Point. So, how do you it? World’s first (I think?) gelatosquid beat the room where others failed by using two Arcstriders and a Melting Point Titan. It’s incredibly difficult, and I was watching 390 players like Teawrex getting two shot by things constantly. The final room will spawn a collection of three bosses that you’re going to have to kill while dodging an entire room full of shielded elite mobs. There are three rooms I believe where you have to kill enemies and blights (like the old Spindle quest) and you will kill wall blights to open up the next two rooms. After a ridiculous amount of jumping, you will enter a combat encounter that will tear even 385-390 players apart (you absolutely need a full fireteam for this entire mission, by the way).
